Food Guilt? I’m with you – Find The Right Exercise Routine for You! Read more…
Have you been experiencing “Food Guilt”? eating those extra scoops of ice cream? Indulging late night pizza deliveries? Chick-fil-A waffle fries? Because OH MY GAH, they’re amazing! And if I’m being completely honest with myself, even though I’m only eating the chocolate chips (hidden in the middle drawer of my fridge), I’m still rounding out like a fresh-baked cookie in all the wrong places. PLUS it’s the middle of July! It’s like I didn’t even try to get that summer bod. But I did. oh. how. I. did. I ate salads, skipped dinner, and gorged myself on morning smoothies. Calorie counting condemnation catastrophe!!!
Never give up!
But I don’t want to give up. Can’t give up. I want change and results. I want a lifestyle. Not of skinny, but of fitty. I want to be healthy, strong, curving those cravings (click for “Curb your cravings” blog), and looking in the mirror saying OH MY BAHD is so sesssy. But I’ve been feeling so guilty about the junk food that sometimes I just think, “Well whatevs. I already need 18 wheels to cart this stack-o-fluff.” And so I eat that extra taco.
How about dancing?
But something I’ve always wanted to do is try to learn how to dance. I’m embarrassed to say that I once tried hip-hop youtube tutorials. And let me be the first to say how ridiculous I looked. Like a soccer mom busting moves at her son’s game ‘cause he scored a goal. Although it was effective in that I shed a few pounds, I felt really silly. I wanted to find the right exercise routine that would give me confidence and not make me feel like a weirdo.
Dance Fitness With Jessica
So luckily I discovered Dance fitness with Jessica. It’s this pretty rad dance/exercise combo, with this girlie who’s like a total wonder woman. On one DVD she has 18, can I say it again? EIGHTEEN body shaping workouts that you can watch over and over again. It’s called Intense Burn. Perfect for my mac-truck of a bod. You can get addicted, which is great, because if you have one of your I-need-a-triple-double-crunch-wrap-from-Taco-Bell cravings, you can just plug in Jessica.
Real Women
And it’s not like she’s one of those fake-skinny girls (sorry Barbie) (click to check out our Barbie Bashing blog). Jessica’s got real-woman-arms, you know, like turkey legs (sorry real ladies it’s what we got), only hers are muscular and fabulous. Not all flabby, but seriously toned. Which encourages me, because I always see these leading lady movie rolls and magazine cover gals with these insanely tiny arms, and I’m like, “Mine could never look like that.” Buuuut they could be fantastic like Jessica’s. And that’s what I love about her. That she doesn’t have a fake body. So her routine could be my routine, the right one! One that will allow me having the whip on my grande frappuccino without feeling that hated food guilt. I think you know what I mean! 😉
